Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions establish the terms and procedures for using the community services (hereinafter "Service") provided by AskGangnam (hereinafter "Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and its members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to all online community services provided by the Company.
  2. "Member" refers to a person who has agreed to these terms and entered into a service use agreement with the Company.
  3. "Content" refers to posts, photos, files, links, etc. posted by members while using the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)

  1. These terms become effective by posting them on the Service screen or notifying members through other methods.
  2. The Company may revise these terms when necessary, within the scope that does not violate relevant laws.
  3. Modified terms become effective 7 days after announcement.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

  1. Membership registration is completed when a user agrees to the terms, applies for membership, and the Company accepts the application.
  2. The Company may refuse membership registration in the following cases:
    • If the applicant has previously lost membership status
    • If false information is provided or required information is not provided
    • If membership registration is deemed inappropriate for other reasons

Article 5 (Member Obligations)

  1. Members shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:
    • Stealing others' information
    • Infringing on the Company's copyrights, others' copyrights, or other rights
    • Posting content that violates public order and morals
    • Activities deemed to be related to crime
    • Other activities that violate relevant laws

Article 6 (Content Management)

  1. Responsibility for content posted by members lies with the member who posted the content.
  2. The Company may delete content without prior notice in the following cases:
    • Content that defames or damages the reputation of other members or third parties
    • Content that violates public order and morals
    • Content deemed to be related to criminal activity
    • Content that infringes on the Company's copyrights, others' copyrights, or other rights
    • Advertising content or spam

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company is exempt from liability when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters or war.
  2. The Company is not responsible for service disruptions due to the member's fault.
  3. The Company is not responsible for the member's loss of expected profits from using the Service.

Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)

Matters not specified in these terms shall be governed by relevant laws and commercial customs. Korean law applies to disputes arising between the Company and members in relation to Service use.
